Directions by motor vehicle

Coming from Berlin:

• First possibility
  Via the A 24 and A 19 freeways in the direction of Rostock, change to the A 20 at the Rostock junction and continue in the direction of Stralsund until you reach the Stralsund exit. On the B 96, follow the signs to the island of Rügen.
• Second possibility
  Take the A 11 in the direction of Stettin to the Uckermark interchange, then change to the A 20 in the direction of Neubrandenburg/Stralsund, drive to exit 24 Stralsund. Follow the federal road B 96 to Stralsund, then follow the signs to the island of Rügen.

Coming from Hamburg/Lübeck:

Take the A 20 freeway in the direction of Rostock and continue to the Stralsund exit. Follow the B 96 in the direction of Stralsund the signs to the island of Rügen.

Travel recommendation Stralsund - Baltic resort Binz:

In Stralsund, the B 96 leads over the new Rügen Bridge to the island. Follow the B 96 in the direction of Bergen and after approx. 20 km turn onto the B 196 (right before Bergen) in the direction of Sellin/Göhren. After passing the village of Bergen, you will reach the Karow turn-off after 5 km (please do not turn left here in the direction of Binz, but continue straight ahead in the direction of Ostseebad Göhren). In the village of Serams turn left in the direction of Binz. Follow the Alleenstraße and pass the Granitz hunting lodge on your right. After crossing the railroad crossing turn right into the street "Am Klünderberg". Please drive over the hill and then turn right into Putbuser Str.. After about 100 m you will see the Grand Hotel Binz on the right.
